Sofa Assembly Process

You can expect our experienced sofa reupholstery crew to follow our proprietary step-by-step process that includes the following:

Step 1: Prep the disassembly and assembly areas for service

Step 2: Disassemble the sofa into an appropriate number of pieces by removing needed upholstery, Staples, and tack strips to expose the sofa frame for cutting.

Step 3: Relocate cut and disassembled sections from the disassembly area to the room of choice via an elevator (no additional charge) or via stairs (flight charge).

Step 4: Reassembly of cut sofa frame through reinforcing metal brackets and additional wood support struts to the pre-service structural integrity or greater with heavy-duty screws.

Step 5: Finalize reassembly of a sofa, stretching out fabric to correct rigidity, securing material and seams through staples, and stitching necessary upholstery.

Step 6: Reassembly all sofa legs to the sofa

Step 7: Conduct a sofa overview for structural integrity, and upholstery symmetry
